I am a cultural geographer with a particular interest in technology, based at the University of Exeter. My research principally concerns the design and use of digital technologies and technical practices that are significant to how we experience space and place. My research draws upon and advances urban and cultural geography and. More broadly, I contribute to advancing the understanding and public communication of human geography as a committee member of the History and Philosophy of Geography.

I am a Senior Lecturer in Human Geography at the Department of Geography. I arrived in Loughborough to take up a lectureship in February 2012 after an ESRC. I completed my ESRC-funded PhD in February 2011. Gregynog and James Fairgrieve Prize. I am currently the Principal Investigator on an ESRC FRL project.
